What pool toys are provided?

Our guests can enjoy the use of 2 swim noodles, mask and snorkel, dive sticks and 2 lilos.

What are the closest airports?

Bergerac is 40km away and Bordeaux is 146km.

Where do I collect my keys ?

Either myself or my wife will be at the villa to greet you, provide you with keys and show you around the property.

When can we check in ?

From 5pm onwards

When do we have to check out ?

By 10am on the day of your departure

Can we stay in the villa later than the confirmed vacating time of 10am?

Please ask to see what we can do, but usually this is not possible, as the villa will need to be cleaned and prepared for the next guest.

Do you refund the deposit?

We are sorry but we don't refund the deposit. To make it easier for you the Balance is to be paid 8 weeks before your arrival

Is car hire essential?

Yes, car hire is essential for exploring and for making trips to the supermarket etc. You can hire a car at the Bergerac airport.

Is there car parking?

Each house has it’s own parking space for several cars

Are bed linen and towels provided in the villa?

Yes, all beds will be made in advance of your arrival. Hand towels will be provided in each bathroom in addition to one set of towels per person – small towel, bath towel and pool towel. Linen is proved each week.

Are all the bedroom en-suite?

All bedrooms are en-suite.

Are there shutters or black out blinds?

No. Light curtains are provided in all rooms. If travelling with young children you may want to consider bringing your own travel blackout blind.

Do you supply toiletries in the bathrooms and cleaning products, etc?

All bathrooms and the kitchen come with hand soap and loo paper. The kitchen is supplied with cleaning products and bin bags. You will not need to buy anything other than food

Is there a TV and DVD player?

Yes both are provided and the TV comes with a selection of satellite free-view channels.

Is there a landline and Wi Fi?

We do not have a landline but Wi Fi is provided.

Is there somewhere to dry laundry?

Yes we have a clothes line in the garden.

Is there an iron, ironing board and hairdryer at the villa?

Yes – they are included.

And what about a BBQ?

Yes Weber charcoal BBQ is provided and situated in the covered patio area. The BBQ is large enough to cope with the demands of all the houseguests and the table big enough for everyone to sit around.

We see there are ponies at the villa, can we ride them?

We can walk your kids around on the ponies but it is not possible, by French law, to ride them unattended. We provide helmets and safety jackets.

Can you recommend/arrange babysitters?

Yes, we can. Please discuss your requirements with us.

Is there any taxi service?

Yes, please discuss your requirements with us and we can book direct with a local driver. We can also organise taxis to and from airports, but it would be easier for your stay if you hired a car.

Is the pool heated?

All of our pools are heated and are private to each house. The thermostat is set between 27°c and 30°c

Do you provide enough sun loungers?

There are enough loungers around the pool for each guest. They are equipped with soft cushions.

What is mobile coverage like?

The signal is good but will of course depend on your carrier. Orange and SFR seems to be the best

How do I find the Dezie Manor ?

Detailed directions including Sat Nav coordinates will be sent to you prior to arrival. Each house detail page has a google map of the address

Local amenities ?

We are a short drive (5 minutes) to Vergt where you will find a Spar, a Intermarche, a several restaurants, bakeries, cafes, post office, bank machine, petrol station, pharmacy etc.

And what about kids toys? Do you provided DVDs, books or indoor and outdoor games?

We provide a library of books (this depends on the house). Each house also has a ping-pong table, volley/badmington net and petanque balls. Don't hesitate to ask in person.

How regular is the cleaning or is it just on departure?

The house will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. We can arrange a mid stay clean at a cost. A change of linen is supplied every Saturday.

Is there heating in the house ?

Yes each house is heated and it's included in the weekly rate unless stated otherwise

Is the villa air conditioned?

Yes each house has air conditioning in the main living area. The Grange and the Cottage are naturally cool and the Orangerie has beautiful cool covered areas.

Can I hire a bus to take me on a wine tour to see the vineyards ?

Bugscarhire http://www.buggscarhire.com has been suggested for Bergerac. I don’t know for Bordeaux

Do you have a wine tour suggestion ?

Is there a cleaning fee ?

Yes there is. Please contact the owner for more information about the current rate.

Is there any restriction on noise?

We ask our guests to be careful about playing loud music, etc after 22:00.

Does the house have any vis-a-vis ?

The houses do not have any vis-a-vis. They have private lanes, parks, parking, heated pools.

Is the pool child / disabled friendly?

The Grange and Cottage heated pools have full width steps making it ideal for kids and those needing assistance. They are also equipped with electric hard shutters.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Our large high spec kitchens, with garden outlook have a full inventory of plates, glasses and cutlery to cater for the amount of guests sleeping in the villa. You will also find plenty of salad and serving bowls, chopping boards and sharp knives. Our villas come with a top of the range dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and American style fridge/freezer(with ice machine). Electrical items including a coffee machine, blender and robot* are also supplied. You will find basic foodstuffs (including olive oil, salt and pepper), basic cleaning products (including dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, washing up liquid), t-towels, oven gloves and washing sponges, tin foil, cling film etc. 

If there is anything you really need to be available, do please ask and we will try our hardest to have this available for you.

Is an information pack provided at the property?

Yes, you will have a welcome pack at your disposal. This includes information on local places of interest, excursions, activities, supermarkets and other shops, what to do in a medical emergency, instructions for all the white goods etc. If there is something you would like to know prior to making your booking, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is a breakage deposit payable?

The breakage deposit. This will be returned after your departure should everything be left in the same condition as was found.

What size beds do you have ?

The beds are 1.60x2.00m for the double beds and 0.80x2.00m for the singles. Please specify what type of beds you need before your arrival. If nothing is specified all beds will be doubles.
